Louise is a landscape artist drawing inspiration from the natural world far and wide, capturing her emotional response to place in her poetic and atmospheric style. She does not strive to capture a scene, instead, she spends time absorbing, soaking up all that makes a place unique - she then, through layers, scraping and gestural mark-making, creates work that comes from within, a response rather than a snapshot.
