Last Friday I finalized the last details of my new trip to Tokyo next June.
For the duration of my journey I will be staying in a hotel in the central district of Akasaka, a stone's throw from the Imperial Palace.
The departure from Venice is scheduled for 4:30pm on June 10th, with a stopover in Doha and arrival in Tokyo at 7:30pm on June 11th.
Between the checks and the journey, I don't think I will be able to get to the hotel before 10pm, which means that the actual tour will start the next day.
I'm already trying to make a mental plan of where to go and when, but I trust that a large part of the experience will be based on improvisation and adventure.
I've never taken a solo trip in my life, so the thought of doing it 6000km from home excites and scares me at the same time.
But one thing is for sure, it will be an unforgettable adventure.
Only 70 more days.
