What happened?
As we advanced in technology, the difficulties of hard work were replaced by efficient machines, devices, drugs and designed lives of comfort.
The difficulties of life and the rewards that came from overcoming them have now been taken away.
There is a specific drive, an anatomical part of the brain that thrives, grows and creates discipline, resilience & fortitude making those few that do the hard work do the things they don't want to do - to become a better version of themselves.
