This month, I'm featured in an all Queer Artist Art show hosted by BLUE LINE ARTS in Roseville CA (close to Sacramento CA). My Painting "Grief" is on display allongside My Cousin Max Poth's photography from his book "Project Contrast"!
Opening Reception: June 15th, 2024 from 5 to 7pm. Unfortunately, we wont be able to attend (wedding season.. am I riiiite?) but if you happen to visit the show, please take a selfie with the painting and send it to me! the Exhibition Dates are May 25th to July 6th, 2024!

UPCOMING ART SHOW!! Hey friends, if you're in LA this April 13th, stop by Exhibit A Gallery to check out our art show "IDOL WORSHIP" Featuring the work of Jeremy Saffer. Jeremy is most known for his work photographing alternative and industrial bands throughout their career. a handful of artists, including myself, were selected to paint original portraits based on Jeremy's extensive catalog. I chose to do a piece of an old friend, Chris from Motionless in White.

Happy new year, friends! Well isn’t this sweet? A brand new year, fresh inspiration and a new look at polishing up my bucket list! This year, I plan to dedicate more time to nourishing creative pursuits, to learning new things, and to work on better expressing myself and the things that inspire me most. I hope to encourage you all toward doing the same, whatever your goals for the year may be!
So! You may remember a few months back, I ran a poll to see if there’s any interest in offering painting tutorials. The response was so positive.. I got to work on it right away!

The first in a series of lessons, which my greatest hope is to make accessible and easy to understand walkthroughs of different concepts and techniques I have learned over the years. Max traveled all across the country, photographing queer youth for Project contrast, nonprofit organization that amplifies voices of LGBTQ+ youth through the power of storytelling.. "By contrasting the experiences between rural and urban LGBTQ+ communities across America, we continue educating and celebrating all queer youth in an effort to create better communities and lower the rate of LGBTQ+ youth suicides."

I am beside myself - I'm just so very very proud of this sweet boy and all he does for his community.
