AM Training Kennels was established by Alan Mc Adams, who has been training all breeds of dogs since his teenage years, spanning over 40 years of experience.
At AM Training Kennels, board and train services are provided for all types of dogs. Alan specializes in addressing dog behavioural problems, with a focus on working line breeds, including the Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherd.
Alan is recognized as one of the top trainers for high-end working line dogs in Ireland. Since 2012, he has been training working line Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherd dogs, gaining extensive experience in the Royal Dutch Police Dog Program (KNPV), which is the baseline K9 program for police, security, and military special forces worldwide.
In 2019, Alan became the first and only Irish person to breed and train two Belgian Malinois X from an Irish kennel to achieve the coveted PH1 certification in KNPV. He has also trained handlers and decoys to work in the KNPV program.
