For those of you hungry for some more behind the scenes stuff, Ivan Duch has just released his own dedicated "Making Of" video covering the music behind "Winter Weathered".
His work on SAURIA is fantastic, and he deserves much more attention than he gets. Please go check his video out! ^_^

My recent "Arctic Saurian Lore Compendium" video featured a handful of clips from the unreleased third episode of SAURIA, and this a screenshot of one of those clips. I know a lot of you are really excited to see the one with the spinosaurus in it, so here's a little teaser.
The film is still months and months away from being released but I'm sure you will all love it when it's done.

Thank you all for 1,000,000 subscribers... but sadly, it's time for me to disappear again and get to work.

I don't often collaborate with anyone while working on my films, but working with Ivan Duch on SAURIA has totally changed my stance on that. He is the musical composer for the series and I think his work on these films has been phenomenal. Rarely have I enjoyed creatively working together with someone as much as with Ivan, and his music has totally elevated the series to heights I didn't think possible.
His work deserves so much more attention than it gets, so I implore you all to check out his stuff.
The "Winter Weathered" Offical Soundtrack is available on his website, Bandcamp, Spotify, and Youtube.

Teaser trailer for SAURIA: Episode 2 will be uploaded very soon! ^_^
The film will be called "Winter Weathered" and will be one of the longest films I've ever made at 16 minutes long.
It follows a lone hunter living in the far north of SAURIA as he tries to survive the region's harshest and wildest winter months.

NEW ANIMATED SERIES IS COMING SOON! :D
My next animated series will be a dark-fantasy series called "SAURIA", consisting of three 7-10 minute anthological films. Each film focuses on a different major part of this brutal and primordial world.

OLD BUCK Action Figures are HERE!!! :D

These figures are part of the Beasts of the Mesozoic toyline, and are based on the character from my Dinosauria Animated Series.
You all know I love collecting dinosaur toys and the Beasts of the Mesozoic toyline in particular was a huge inspiration while making "Old Buck". To now have a couple Old Buck figures in the very toyline that inspired the film is pretty amazing! :D All thanks to you guys with your fan-choice votes that got this whole collaboration started.
There are two versions of this Old Buck figure; "standard" and "bloody". One depicting character at the start of the film, and one depicting the character at the end of the film.

I think David Silva and the Creative Beasts team did a great job with the figures. I personally leant my hand in creating some original artwork for the collectable art-card, the box, and the diorama inlay.
I suppose this is my very first Dead Sound "merch", and I don't know if it gets any better than this! If you're interested in purchasing your own Old Buck, the two figures are available here:

Creative Beasts:
Standard: creative-beast.com/product/styracosaurus-fans-choi…
Bloody: creative-beast.com/product/1-18th-styracosaurus-fa…

Everything Dinosaur:
Standard: www.everythingdinosaur.com/product/beasts-of-the-m…
Bloody: www.everythingdinosaur.com/product/beasts-of-the-m…

Sadly, there have been some errors with the art-cards for all recent BOTM figure releases with artwork formatted incorrectly and at low resolution. For this Old Buck release, the cards also incorrectly credits the wrong artist. I've talked to David Silva about this and if you recieve one of these misprinted art-cards and want a replacement, please email David Silva (dsilva20@creative-beast.com) and he will send you out a replacement.

SURPRISE! :D
My next animated short film is on the horizon. It will be called “Locked Doors” and this time I’ve gone back to my roots and made a science fiction film with a cheeky Lovecraftian flare. Very similar in tone to my older works like “White Walls” and “Model Citizen”.
Teaser will be uploaded later today! ^_^

The final episode of my 'Dinosauria' series is nearly finished. It will be called “The Last Tyrant” and is easily the longest and most ambitious film of the series. It’s 10 minutes in length and covers the extinction of the non-avian dinosaurs at the end of the Cretaceous. The teaser trailer will probably be up before June! ^_^

In the meantime, let’s all enjoy some Prehistoric Planet! :D

Here is my final post (hopefully) on the copyright claim situation;

For the past 8 months, I have received multiple fraudulent copyright claims over some of my earlier Autodale videos. Whoever was behind this wasn't specifically targetting me though. They had actually stolen a collection of copyright-free music created by Ross Bugden (which a lot of my videos use) and put it into Youtube's content ID system as their own, reaping all the ad revenue they could.
"No Monsters" was the film being affected the most by this and my original plan was to re-score and re-upload it, but Ross has come to the rescue! He has managed to remove the fraudulent copies of his music from the content ID system, all the claims on my videos have been lifted, and "No Monsters" is back up. The re-score is no longer happening and everything is back to normal.
BIG THANKS to Ross for sorting this all out. I know exactly how difficult and tedious it can be to deal with this sort of thing.

...now back to Dinosauria! :D
