Go dream team! It's time for the Baja Lorca in southern Spain with the best team I could wish for - navigator Chris Hammond, dedicated @bowlermotors tech support from Ben Horobin and of course the wider Bowler team. It's a big race... 2x 175km special stage of the dusty hot barren Spanish terrain on Saturday. Wish me luck!!

Life isn't all highs. Growth comes from stepping outside our comfort zone. It can be scary, overwhelming and intense but EVERYONE faces moments of lows. That's ok. It's processing them, learning and adapting that counts. I'm hugely grateful to Chris and the @bowlermotors team for helping me on my rally journey. Your Defender driver development programme, which is available to anyone, is taking my confidence up and UP!

Message me for details in how to join me with Bowler and also make sure you watch the full episode on my channel 🎥

And I promise to never hide my lows from you! Social media should never just be the highs!

Ever called emergency services for support? How about visiting the doctor when you’re feeling sick? It’s something pretty common for many of us in the world, so common that my gut says we take it for granted – I know I did until I visited somewhere so dramatically different.

Recently I had the opportunity to travel through rural parts of The Gambia, Africa to see the amazing and impactful work that @twowheelsforlife2747 do. They support the mobility of healthcare in areas where the roads would be considered more like a ‘fun enduro track’ to many of us. Without the 300+ motorcycles and 100+ vehicles many would be left with absolutely no medical help. The sounds of that two-stroke entering their village must be an incredible noise to hear.

4 years ago, I travelled 1,300 km over seven days on the Yamaha Tenere 700 riding Sardinia’s most spectacular routes. Incorporating twisty roads, highways, mule tracks, dirt tracks, rivers, technical hill climbs it was an incredible mix of on and off road terrain. The result was being able to provide you with a full and comprehensive review on this rugged ADV bike.

I feel comfortable saying the Yamaha Tenere does exactly what is says on the tin. It is raw and rugged, but is it value for money?

Watch my fuel review video for everything you need to know about the “go everywhere adv motorcycle”.
