How incredible is this?! 💥 One of my amazing followers, Liz, asked to paint a picture of me, and just look at what she created! 😍🎨

This is me at the start line of Red Bull Romaniacs, captured with such incredible energy and attention to detail. From the precision of the colors to the way she’s brought my eyes to life—it’s truly mind-blowing. It’s one thing to take a photo, but to translate it into such a powerful painting… Liz, you’ve absolutely nailed it! 🙌💕

What’s even more amazing is that Liz did this purely out of her passion for art, asking for nothing in return but for me to make a donation to Breast Cancer Research UK. Of course, I’ve made that donation, and if anyone else feels inspired by Liz’s work, any contributions to the charity would be hugely appreciated too! 💗

👉 What do you think of Liz’s incredible painting? I’d love to hear your thoughts on her talent and this unique project!

Pregnancy glow? I wouldn’t go as far as saying that, but I am relieved to let you know that I am doing heaps better than my last update. The baby resentment is dramatically better, my mind is able to see the positives of life again and I’m actively looking after myself, AND even possibly as far as… able to say I am excited to meet the new little human that’s been frantically trying to crack my rib cage or make me pee with a kick of it’s heel [seriously how is a 32 week old baby in a belly so strong?!]. The dark late trimester 3 phase has passed and I have to thank my parents, husband, friends and all of you for helping me through ❤️

I’ve been overwhelmed by how many other women out there have also faced some hefty mental health and physical battles during pregnancy. So often we feel alone but the reality is that we are not, it’s just that the world hides the truth. These miss representations can be so harmful for our expectations.

The last few weeks I’ve been focusing really hard on self-love, being kind to myself as I grow a new human and hugely on increasing my readiness for motherhood. This has been in nursery preparations, second hand baby ‘stuff’ shopping and the wonders of audiobooks.
I’m not yet ‘ready’ for motherhood but I’m on the journey and there are smiles and excitement again! 🥰

Baby brain 0 : Vanessa 1! Are you ready for the results!??
Amazing week at Öhlin Suspension meeting the team, developers, off road and racing teams, and seeing the production line. I went with what I thought was an ok level of knowledge on suspension, and I can tell you that I am now pretty clued up!! Which means only one thing… there is going to be a whole new video series on suspension coming your way!

Videos include topics such as suspension for dummies [let’s break it down and make it simple], the number 1 bike modification we all need to do, what is inside our suspension and a full 'how to' on setting your SAG [and if you don’t know what that is you definitely need to watch].

The most empowering thing in life is growth, and knowledge can lead to exciting things so I can’t wait to share it with you.

I also want to highlight how refreshing it was for Öhlins Racing - Motorcycle to invite me out despite being 32 weeks pregnant. Pregnancy is so often seen as debilitating factor, or a reason we have to stop and wrap up in cotton wool. Being on camera with such a bump certainly isn’t the most flattering image when you’re use to having a 6 pack…but I hope you will still tune in and enjoy the series as the knowledge I’ll be sharing could give you 30% more speed on your motorcycle, more endurance, more comfort and far more fun!!

Stay tuned!! And thank you again Öhlins for believing in women into motherhood [this will make more sense if you see my previous pregnancy update posts on my mental health].

And yes… I did manage to eat both bags of the burnt butter crisps… if you go to Sweden they are a MUST try!!! And Dime bars of course. Anything else?

🏍️ Baby bump... meet bike bump! 💥
I’m thrilled to see the awesome support and hilarious comments from you all on my journey of riding motorcycles while pregnant. Here are some gems from my latest video series! 🏍️ 🤣👇

We’ve got everything from beer belly comparisons 🍻 to handy advice about switching to an ATV once I’m 8.5 months to carry more snacks... and of course, some against the idea because being pregnant means women should stop, sit in the corner in bubble wrap and abandon everything they know as life... 🤦‍♀️

I’m sharing my experiences to break the stigma and hopefully bring a smile to your face, especially on a Monday! Riding through pregnancy might not be the norm, but depending on your circumstances (which the videos explain) it's perfectly okay with some adjustments, and I’m living proof that it’s possible (with the right balance, of course).

To all the expecting mums out there, you can be a badass and still do what you love AND be a responsible mother growing a magical new little life. 🙌
