Some delays on the Veritas project. I think ill make it 3 videos. But this runs it into ~RamadaTime~. I pulled her this morning and shes very promising and her teams are pretty interesting too (Veritas of the Heavens shows up with solid numbers).

By Monday I should have at least the first part of my Guardian Crystal Showcase done, here's how it will work:
I'm testing 13 of the best Veritas teams I can build, both using 3 days of JP guild battle data, but also mocking the team vs my whole guild. I have fully reincarnated Heavens and Waters, and a 120 Earth. Waters and Heavens have a max version of their signature equipment and all will have access to a +5 Guardian's Crystal. This should be their maximum power.
I may have to break it up 2-3 ways. Veritas of the Waters will certainly be her own video because she was pretty versatile in how she could be fit into teams. 3 (almost 3) of these teams have seemingly never been tested in guild battle before from wotv-stats data.

This update and the Guardian's Crystal with it have been one of the most awaited for me in recent WotV memory.
I have 55 recipes already, Veritas dominance incoming!

Lv. 99 Shurecca is wreckin faces pretty consistently in free match (which loves to feed me Earth teams since the update). This isnt normal, usually a unit would be too much of a handicap at that level but she hits hard and takes damage well while often being the fastest member of my team.
Ill wait until 140 to showcase her, but this is promising to say the least

The 3 Veritas meme team is starting to win free matches fairly consistently now that Veritas of the Earth is 115. Ill be excited to revisit this team with the Guardians Crystal and VotE at 120 which i should be able to accomplish within a few more days.
Another team im excited to show off in a week or so is Veritas of the Winds with his Sky Ripper and a Guardians Crystal +5 - Dario the Crystalborn (now close to full reincarnation thanks to the festival) and Shurrecca once i can 140 her.

I 140d Sonille, and frankly im unimpressed. (Yes, i didnt reincarnate her, but its expensive so why should i if i dont like her?). My main issue is just how poor her damage is.
Sure. She is quite evasive in the right builds, at least if the opponent doesn't have guaranteed hit. The only build of her that can heal itself adequately is the bloodsword build which isn't the most evasive or even that impressive in its healing power for reasons I'll mention later. Her TMR can give her pretty reliable AP down onto her attacks automatically much like Tifa's custom weapon, and does a lot to cheer her up against single Target attacks.
The thing is her being able to survive isn't necessarily that beneficial because her offensive capabilities are pretty minimal. Maybe even more than the original Kitone, she feels like an evasive mosquito. I guess it makes sense that duelist is styled after a fencer because it really feels like she's needling my opponents for damage. This is also quite the problem for the aforementioned bloodsword build because she's never going to be doing enough damage to heal back much even if she does get critical Hits pretty reliably.
Maybe this job could have been salvaged a bit with a good limit burst but she doesn't have one at all, and this was part of what made earlier duelists like Chunak more usable (but still pretty bad).
Side note: isnt it overdue to give Lemure and Corwell LBs? Would it even matter? lemure is okay, but her with an LB even a good one, wouldnt be gamebreaking for her
