I had to go back to an old post and edit it since I cannot make a new one. I am a very big fan of forsaken. I play it every day, infact. I have 14 days of playtime on the game. Recently, there was lots of drama about the profits being leaked. Soul was getting 25% of the games revenue. If you don't know who soul is, it would be a good idea to watch of video on them. To put it short, they did a lot of very bad things. A lot of people were upset with the Forsaken team and many quit and left the game. Forsaken youtubers moved to other games, or quit entirely. Skin collabs or other skins people were working on were scrapped due to the drama and people not wanting anything to do with forsaken, which is completely understandable. Lots of people said things like, "kill soul" or "I will kill soul" and that's just such a horrible thing to say. I genuinely felt scared and uncomfortable looking at these replies. People talking about killing soul, torturing them, and many more cruel things. Yes, soul is a bad person. They have done bad things, but no one deserves to have death threats and things like that. No one deserves to die like that. No matter how bad of a person they are. I am NOT saying I support soul, I very much do NOT like them and their actions. I do not condone or support any of that at ALL. The forsaken team themself has gotten lots of backlash and hate aswell. And its understandable why. This information was hidden and many people felt back stabbed and hurt. I can't help but feel a bit bad for everyone on the team, though. No games profits get leaked, because its no ones business. Everyone on the team must be terribly stressed and anxious, and I feel people are acting a bit... Over the top about it all. Saying you hate forsaken and you hate everyone involved with it is just a bit much, in my opinion. I understand the hate, and it is valid to not like the game, but don't harrass the developers. They did nothing wrong. It was an NDA and they could have legal consequences if they broke it, although I DO think the drama could have been better dealt with, by the public AND the devs. A lot of people were also mad about updates coming out as soon as the drama happened. People were skeptical since there was drama JUST a few days before. They thought the devs were trying to cover it up, which is very much a possibility, but I do feel there could be other explanations. The update could have been planned. All in all, I feel the drama could have been better handled by EVERYONE, and I think the harrassment towards soul and the developers was very cruel and over the top, mainly just the death threats. I also want to say, its OKAY if you don't like forsaken and don't want to play it anymore, that's completely valid. Just because you play or STILL make forsaken content, doesn't mean you support soul. Anyways, have a nice day/night.
