12/15/20- Quietwater Films is past tense. That said, the biggest chunk is still quite active. Darren Bush and the paddling world of Rutabaga Paddlesports and Canoecopia is very much alive and kicking and patiently waiting whatever the next version of post-COVID 'normalcy' brings to our world.
We started Quietwater Films back in the day because we wanted to show the world that paddlesports is the domain of normal people on normal water in normal boats, with their family and kids in a lake. Too much of paddlesports shows itself as some hairball kayaker with a pink mohawk hucking himself off a cliff. We think that's a false image of paddling. The real world of paddling is full of normal people out for a daytrip.
As always, we hope you learn a bit of technique and then leave that DVD behind and go paddling!
