ELECTION DAY 2024
Thereās a reason the words āDo not be afraidā appears 365 times in the Bible, itās one time for every day of the year
Today may be worrisome for many, but it doesnāt have to be. Some may even feel as though theyāre under water, unable to breathe, producing anxiety that seems too much, but there is One who rules over all, and He will not give us more than we can handle
Proverbs 3:5-6 says, āTrust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your pathsā
You see, we donāt have to worry nor be afraid of what is to come because we know that He is in control. He knows whatās best, and ultimately how the story ends
Do you know that peace?
Trust Him, He never loses, and He ALWAYS keeps His promises
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
1 Peter 5:6-8
Donāt look down at the polls, look up; He is in control

Jesus gets us, and He loves us just as we are. So much so He gave His life for our eternal salvation. We are never āso far goneā that He would turn His back on us, and thatās a promise that was made knowing full and well who we are and what we would do in our lives
I think Paul said it best when he wrote, āall have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesusā
Romans 3:23-24
We have nothing to fear with the redemption provided by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He knows you and all youāve done, and still loves you just the same. Now, itās up to each and every one of us to get to know Him

Let us remember what today and this week means to us. Our King, entered the city of peace, knowing He would give His life for our sins. What a glorious Lord and Savior we have!

What is referred to as The Great Commission, the resurrected Christ tells His disciples to go forth and make disciples of ALL nations
What greater act of love can we provide to our family, friends, and neighbors than to share the good news that leads them to Him to receive His gift of eternal salvation?
Many times we may be afraid to share our faith in a world that is upside down, fixated on self, personal gain, pleasure, and satisfaction, but in the words of Paul, āif God is for us, who can be against us?ā
Romans 8:31 NKJV
Donāt be afraid to share the love of Christ with those around you. Will we be persecuted because of it? Surely. But fear not, the prophets before us were also persecuted for the same thing, yet assuredly Jesus says great is our reward in Heaven
Let Christ be a lamp unto your feet and guide you every step of the way, for it is written, āI am with you always, even to the end of the ageā

Itās amazing to think we are deeply loved by the creator of the universe. So much so, He desires a relationship with us, but leaves that decision up to us whether we pursue a relationship with Him or not
Truth be told, we may think at times we are unworthy, or ātoo far goneā to be saved, but that couldnāt be further from the promise that is His unconditional love
When God makes a promise, He keeps it. We can rest assured that He will deliver, we just have to trust Him every step of the way
It can be difficult at times, wondering where He might be in times of adversity, but He promised to be right there with us through thick and thin, and when He feels most distant is when Heās working overtime in the lives of those around us
Take heart knowing that He is with you, for it is written, āWhen you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.ā
Isaiah 43:2 NKJV
Trust in Him like He believes in you, and all will be well in your life; a promise thatāll never be broken

As Christians, we have choices to make each and every day, and to love our neighbors is one of them. In a world full of sin, we must rise to the occasion and be a light for others, showing them by our actions just whose disciples we are
Make every effort to do something kind for someone today and everyday, not only to make a difference in their lives, but in yours as well
You may never know the blessing you could be to someone, or what blessing may come to you because of it, for it is written, āall of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to do this, that you may inherit a blessingā

Hey you this is me, A.D. Ross with Novi Outdoors. This channel is dedicated to novice outdoors enthusiasts of all ages. When I first started fishing, I was finding it hard to identify topics and information that would provide the detailed knowledge and descriptions I was looking for.
