Brooklyn based Grandfather create dynamic, intense and violently rhythmic rock. The band recorded their debut album, "Why I'd Try" in 2010 with stalwart engineer Steve Albini (Nirvana, Pixies). Believers in the raw, unencumbered sound of the analog recording process, Grandfather and Albini managed to capture the band's frenetic, live-in-the-room intensity and create a singular, ruminative and altogether bracing introduction to their world. Their second album, "In Human Form" was produced and mixed by Alex Newport (The Mars Volta, Melvins, Fudge Tunnel) and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Nirvana, Soundgarden, The Smashing Pumpkins). "In Human Form" was released on August 15, 2013 for free in high-quality digital formats, directly from the band at www.GrandfatherMusic.com.
