15 years... hard to believe we never even dated. i was too busy being a boy to admire the amazing person right in front of me the whole time. nonetheless, i'm grateful i came to my senses when i did and not a second earlier, because looking back, like many things in life... it happened at the right TIME.
this post is as much about love as it is about the universe's "timing." often times in life, we want this... or that NOW, after all... we've worked hard for it, we deserve it right? but it hasn't come yet and we feel like we're failing. this still happens to me endlessly regarding my own goals and aspirations. i become obsessed with my failures and i lose sight of all the things in life i have to be grateful for.
i'm not sure who this post is for lol. i'm probably self soothing as i sit here wallowing in self doubt about my own path moving forward. often times i wish we knew the future. but would that be any fun? anyway, ill leave you with this quote from the song "Vienna" by Billy Joel...
