Good morning! Let’s talk about Theta Emerald My Way. It’s a new take on the Theta Emerald series — and honestly, a better one. The last two (Forever and The Last Dance) weren’t great, made during a time when binary hacks were already outdated. So now I’m giving decomps a try. Despite what I said before, it’s not so bad! My Way won’t follow the same format. It’s still Emerald, but with twists: some Pokémon will have new or even tri-types, and most will have stat and moveset changes to make them viable. Moves are revamped too — for example, Muddy Water is now Water/Ground and still drops Accuracy. Some abilities are changed as well — like White Smoke now lowering the opponent’s Accuracy on switch-in (think Intimidate, but Accuracy). I’m also considering adding Fakemon or new evos for Pokémon that need one. No decision on new Megas yet, but I'm planning to give them to My Way's starters: Rowlet, Fuecoco, and Totodile will all have Mega Evolutions. This won’t be a difficulty hack. I want it fun, not too easy — somewhere between vanilla and “who let Volo cook?” levels of challenge. For content, I plan to make a documentary explaining my thought process and the journey behind making My Way, leading up to its release. Updated the game, fixes are:
-I accidentally had the two people on the second floor only give EV reducing berries. Fixed that lol
-Moves like Axe Kick crashed the game, fixed now
-Added an NPC in the Pokemon League that'll help you grind your Pokemon by giving you 99 Rare Candies lmao
