"Wales and England are the same, and Wales has copied their myths from other cultures!"

This was a comment left on my recent post, just one of many that shows how uninformed people are about what the British Empire has done to the native people of Briton, and how deeply it has impacted our spiritual culture and myth.

Here, I'm referring to the Empire, not the people of England. I’ve seen so many arguments between people from different cultures, and this division is purposefully orchestrated so that we don’t turn our attention toward our common enemy: the Empire itself.

It’s the Empire, not the people. We, the people, should come together and focus on what is causing us to fight among ourselves.

🔵 My most recent post about the Blue Books was about the attempt to eradicate and demonize the Welsh language, the punishment of Welsh-speaking children, and why so few people speak it today.

This has happened to countless cultures across the world. This hits home for me because my great-great-grandmother was one of the women the British Empire spoke so disgustingly about—my own ancestral blood.

All the people of this land have suffered under the Empire. It's not English people the Welsh don't like being associated with—I myself have English ancestry too.

I have seen so many arguments between people from different cultures, and this division is intentionally created so that we don’t unite against the real enemy: the Empire.

It was the English Empire that truly devastated us, taking away our traditions, our entire language, culture, connection to the land, folk crafts, celebrations, and much more.

⚔️🤍 love to the people 🤍⚔️

I've been away for a week exploring West Wales and we visited this stone structure that's OLDER than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, it's called Pentre Ifan, and is made up of the same stones as Stone Henge as it's right at the base of the Preseli hills which is where the stones came from.

Also... I'M SO GLAD YOU ALL LOVED MY VIDEO ON THE CELTIC THIRD EYE 🧙🏼‍♀️👁️ another video will be dropping soon!

A forest once spanned from Scotland to Wales

A forest once spanned from Scotland to Wales, and mid - North Wales is home to some of Europe's last rainforests. The druids saw groves as sacred, performing ritual, ceremony and taught among the trees.

The photos I've shared are not from the rainforests, but are trees and woodlands from my camera role that I can see inspiring mythology & folklore.

🌱🌿

Pagan spirituality intertwined with Christianity, have you heard of it?

The Celtic Christian monks of Wales grew out of their original and local nature based philosophies right through the chaotic transition into what's known as Celtic Christianity, and they didn't allow their earth and land focused beliefs to be left behind, keeping sacred Earth sites and revering nature, and their native mysticism.

These photos were taken at St Illtyd's Church in Llantwit Major, South Wales, at the apparent ancient Celtic & Druid seat of education, an ancient college entwined with both spirit of the land, ancestral teachings, and Christianity, the stones are 9th century.

🕯️

This time I went to feel the stones as opposed to know what they're about, & visited with friends who are also called to explore this, next time I visit it will be more of a study mission.

My journey surrounds ancient indigenous beliefs from Britain, especially Wales, and when it comes to the written history, the Christianity can't be untangled from the origins as our mythologies, stories and folktales were written and recorded through the eyes of a Christianised culture.

🪨 Stones breathe, I've seen it many times. Have you?
