1) Big launch: The launch video was not only shared by Cristiano Ronaldo on his profiles (he is the most followed person on social media with over 910 Million followers) but collaborated with YouTube to release the video which increased his reach even further. Plus the video was created to attract of all sort of audiences.
2) Consistent content: Almost every day @cristiano is releasing a video. A lot of celebrities start their channels with a lot of hype but are not consistent so the hype fizzles out as their followers have nothing to watch when they visit the channel after 2-3 days.
3) Great content: Ronaldo is actually creating awesome content & not just using old clips. Plus he his including his kids & partner which makes for wholesome content which attracts not just football fans but general audience too which increases his TAM.
4) Different Video formats: Usually people/brands stick to just one format in which they are comfortable. But in 1 week Ronaldo has posted from detailed podcast, challenge video with partner & kids to even "A Day in Life" videos. These are popular formats which Ronaldo is using for growth.
