This is based off of my opinion, spoiler alert 🚨

šŸ”“ (6.0) Nod Krai (Act 2) 8.3/10

Yeah, this quest was a nice continuation, but a little slow also. Instead of by fixing a canon. A canon that’s used to fiend off the Bad kuuvahki. Apparently we do the maintenance, guessing to get our feet with because that’s basically Aino job. And yes, we have child labor Nod Krai. She works for snacks not money. Her snacks are deducted or rewarded based off of whatever she does. From Inetta, which is a bit concerning. We successfully fix the canon and go ahead to Nefer, to ask for a favor, but she also has a favor for us. Taking advantage of our kindness. By helping her go to a bar to serve drinks for Intel. Piamon and the traveler were shockingly drinking alcohol and didn’t get drunk. Had me cracking up laughing. They bring back the Starbucks event which had me excited until I found out the amount of flavors they had to offer was minimum. Nod Kari folks are getting worried about the canon, we didn’t make our way back to Lauma, who gives an interesting inside on a shooting star, which is basically our spaceship. šŸš€ which kind of makes you rethink the beginning scene of Genshin when you see two shooting stars. The traveler uses his vessel to seal the moon relic for the time being. So wants we see Damselette, she already said, recognized it, and we give her some of the power to recover because she’s getting weaker. Interpreting that she might be dying. Giving us more insight on our spaceship. It has decayed. Our sister woke up first and was trying to wake us up. So I was a bit confused on the timelines because it decayed when she came back. Not really sure what exactly happened here. All I wanna know is my theory true, she’s really actually dead. I will definitely be fine with that if that’s the case. Turning the story into a tragedy. šŸŽ

we then fall into a murder mystery. Where the guy that was helping us with the canon was found murdered. A witness, claims to have spotted Flin exiting the house where the victim was murdered. So it’s all eyes on Flin. We end up finding him fighting Rerir, and what a spectacle. Apparently he’s only fighting what looks to be his ghostly form. I’m not quite sure what his plan is. It wasn’t really clear and the things he was saying didn’t really make sense. But he was the reason why we were seeing our sister. So I’m guessing he wants the moon relic. Not the Fatui. Flins lantern is then corrupted, the wild fighting took place. The traveler ended up curing the lantern. Shocking Rerir, guessing he didn’t know we had such ability of the abyss. And he basically fled. The abilities that we displayed made Flin curious and interested in what we are. As Flin has a lack of understanding of abyssal power. He claims that he’s been fighting Rerir a couple of times and winning, but restricted because of the lantern. Leaving to every encounter Rerir getting stronger and stronger. And that he can shape shift which we already found out when he changed into our sister. Which is kind of ironic that he was able to act kind of like her. If we take with the sister said he even knows about the traveler. So this makes him quite interesting. He goes into the story of Rerir which is a little confusing. Nonetheless, we go and continue to investigate the body. That was just left there. They didn’t remove it yet. Not even a sheet to cover the body. A clue emerges that his arm is still operating. Giving off that the mechanic we were dealing with was not the same guy. So we go and find the mechanic for his arm. Hinata. Giving us the rundown on the procedure he did that. He kind of just rushed the parts in order to get the mechanic back working. Skipping ahead because this review was already long as it is we end up finding him in a mist. Not exactly sure why we needed to investigate. This section of the quest is pretty slow and it kind of ruins the pacing. All we kind of just needed to do was find a kuuvahki purple mist I presume. his master plan was to make the towns people feel hopeless, even with the canon, that’s supposed to stop the wild hunt. But the cannon supposedly gives this dude power. And he wants to tell folks to fire the cannon into the wild hunt. Kuuvqhki I may digress. He then claiming that his corpse is the Kuuvqhki mist. I figured. Still don’t really know his main goal. I guess we’ll find out later. Rerir is one of five sinners. I’m guessing this is a group of the same kind as Rerir. And the lantern Flin has is the heart of Rerir. Piss off, We cut to the other party where they’re trying to stop the cannon. But the towns folks won’t let them. Did they have to sneak around it. To where they successfully did. Thanks to Ineffa lifting the cannon up. Missing the wild hunt, but barely hitting it and that barely helped Rerir reborn into a human body. Rerir he’s pissed off at his new body because it’s only 10% of his actual power. And of course, he still fights us. Until, the seventh Heringer arrives Mariuntte. Her mechanical man starts fighting Rerir it is an epic showing until the mechanical man starts losing. That’s right 10% of Rerir is enough to beat the seventh Heringer. Marionette claims that she would’ve beaten him if it wasn’t for Damselette. Right when they were about to be beaten they were teleported. Marionette starts going off on Damselette. Exploiting that there’s a Fatui warrant on her head. If she’s the third strongest, what do they think they can do? Lol not knowing that she’s getting weaker though. Marionette storms off and lets her go. Rerir is still in the wild. It didn’t seem like we were teleported too far from where he was. Somehow Damselette claim somehow he’s no longer threat for now. I guess he just switched to being weaker once we were teleported the way. Doesn’t really make sense, but I’m gonna go along with it. And that’s basically the quest. After sometime, we do catch up with Damselette it gives us more insight on our spaceship. She talks a little bit about Sincenza, but not revealing too much of course. And that’s pretty much the quest. It was pretty long, but I didn’t really feel it. I liked act one a bit better because it was more about the traveler. It felt more connected to him while growing the world. This act felt more like the characters within the nation, and I’m fine with that, but I also like progression in the story and act one felt more progression despite it being not real, it did raise some questions and theories. By far, this is the best introduction quests we’ve had so far.

šŸ”“(6.0) Nod Krai (Act 1) 8.5/10

This was pretty good introduction to the nation, it starts off, kind of slow. But not painstakingly slow like Inazuma. We kinda get to know the way of life of the Nod krai people stumbling across countless characters, Marionette meet us were katheryne normally greets us, making sure that we stay out of her way that there’s no leaders here. Already kind of revealing that she’s the bad guy off the bat. Threatening us, and it’s kinda nice to see one of the Futai harbinger’s lean back into that villain role again. As we haven’t seen it in a while. Not saying they all should be cartoony bad, they don’t over tire that trope. So then Ineffa is basically our tour guy. It’s kind of boring to listen to because you know it’s Ineffa. But eventually, she leads us back to her home where she’s watching a lolly. Aino, apparently they pay her through snacks not money, so they make her do child labor. Threatening to take away snacks if she doesn’t cooperate. Kind of shows how poor Nod Krai kinda is. We go to someplace called the moon Shores where we properly meet Lauma. An outsider. Who is an animal, lover and speaker. She’s in a group called the frostmoon scions, i’m not exactly sure what they really do. I do know that they pray to a false God, but they don’t know that yet. Lauma actually figured it out. And knows about the false sky and that everything is kind of just fake. So the traveler goes on an adventure on his own finding Damselette, nothing exactly really happens. She’s kind of just spaced out. Giving vague answers. Not necessarily engaged, and this is a pretty interesting character dynamic she doesn’t exactly throw information that you like I thought. They kind of let her be a character first. Which I really like Genshin should do more of that. Let the character be the character first and then let them talk. We leave because there’s nothing really we can get out of her at the moment and we find our sister. Would you look at that, as soon as I saw her, I already knew this is way too easy, you mean to tell me after five years we just casually meet, but as time went by and the more I started believing oh we’re actually with our sister. She was acting just as vague the last time we saw her, so it wasn’t really out of character from what we know. She brings us to a cave where we go through trials and tribulations with her for the first time as she’s kind of acting weird, but I’m kind of ignoring it because I’m just enjoying their bonding. Challenging the traveler just like how siblings do. She leads us to a moon relic, where she wants us to get it. A dust of cloud comes up and separates us. The traveler I guess tries to follow her outside the temple where Flins is there instead. Wondering how the conversation will go if he ever meets a surgeon funeral director.

Anyways, the traveler is now back at the hotel, not paying by the way. In stumbles across a couple of folks talking about the missing moon relic, and I thought to myself OK Genshin is cooking. Kind of making the traveler a bad guy. I instantly thought that sister took it. And because we have such a connection to the moon apparently. She used us to get to it. That was my theory at the time. Lauma figured it was the Fatui. Am I just like how the traveler is reacting to what he did that and how he eventually just fesses up just shows character. Lauma still insists that it’s the Fatui an asks her friend Nefer for assistance. Nefer makes it clear that she doesn’t want to help her group. And she has it kind of realism to her that I kinda like it’s not unrealistic realism is kind of just realism. But she ends up, giving in and calls on her assistant who she fires off the bat. Probably wasn’t even getting paid anyway. Lauma offered Jahoda a monthly animal pass. Didn’t directly tell her, but you get the gist. Jadoda is also a good character, expressions on her face. Yeah we need more of that. She’s a bit too goofy for my liking, but she’s tolerable. As we wait to infiltrate the Fatui factory, we take a trip back to Damselette, where we offer her food. Where she kind of reveals that she just stopped being a goddess. The burden of not being able to give any longer. And joined the the Fatui harbinger where she is the third strongest. Not exactly sure why she joined them. She kind of just hinted that they see eye to eye. Feeling that she left them and that they were using here power. She want to go back to moon she saids. Not sure what that really means, but the sky is fake. šŸ¤”

We leave and get ready to go to the factory where we meet up with Lauma. I guess she’s gonna be our eye of the sky because she doesn’t go in with us. Jadoda helps us get through. Until eventually, we find out one of Lauma moonshine members has been working with the Fatui. Everybody is joining the Fatui. If I had a nickel for every time we seen a character join the very thing they despise or has been fighting. And that’s basically act one. Marionette just casually, gives back the moon relic surprisingly. It goes on about her day. She kinda has an attitude to her. Lauma goes back to confess to her people that everything has they have been doing has been a lie all fake. And that pretty much wraps up act one. A pretty solid introduction. It leaves you wanting more. šŸ‘šŸ¾ yeah the whole time his sister was fake. And that was kind of a letdown for me. I wanted to see where they could possibly take this but instead, it was just a simple mind foolery. In order to achieve the moon artifact.
I do like my theory about the sister that I came up with during stream that this whole time she’s dead and we’re just retracing her pass.
