@rainydaydiva6320 asked me about the colors I used for Making Waves. Many years ago I paper pieced Total Eclipse by Quiltworx using these colors. My guild at the time was doing a scrap exchange using these colors and I loved them so much I decided to use them again.

This is what's on my design wall after making the Rising STar Quilt Block video. The blocks on the left are 12" finished and cut with a rotary cutter. Those on the right are cut with the AccuQuilt Rising Star Die and finish at 10". I will make more and combine the two sizes to make a Quilt of Valor.

This video posted early this morning. The Rising Star block is much easier to piece than it looks! Using the Flying Geese Four at A Time speed piecing method, these blocks are a dream to make.
