Heyoo! As many of you are already aware, I've been streaming on Twitch exclusively for now. Hey everyone!
I've decided to pull a Joe Rogan and move over to Twitch for all my livestreams! Except, I'm not actually getting paid lol. All jokes aside, Youtube has made it difficult and cumbersome to livestream on this platform (maybe this post will get demonetized too lol) and Twitch has been the exact opposite, incredibly supportive. I'm gonna continue posting regular video content here, but from now on, all the livestreams will be on twitch.tv/rac ✨
I'll likely still post the VODs over here about a week or so later, but just wanted to give everybody a heads up. It's a shame that the platforms get in the way of giving you content, but here we are. I hope you'll join me over there and I'm super appreciative of your support throughout all of this.

BOY, my third studio album is out now. ✨
This album is about growing up. I was tapping into melodies that remind me of that period of my life. Rooted in a sense of nostalgia, growing pains and coming of age. It’s an elusive feeling but I tried to capture it and ultimately re-interpret it through a modern lens. I grew up in Portugal and I experienced a lot of confusion as a child about being half-american, half-portuguese. Perhaps an issue with language, but more likely a crisis of identity. I would just create my own worlds to live in. I found music to be the perfect neutral ground to express myself. I loved music so much. I would catch glimpses of the outside world and would internalize them so strongly. The album has a hazy quality, like a distant memory, but somehow familiar. I wanted the artwork to reflect that. It's abstract but I loved the form and it just felt right. I felt like I lived in a translucent bubble, getting a hazy version of the outside world, but never actually experiencing it. I don’t live in that bubble anymore, but it’s cathartic to explore it and share it with you all. It’s not mine anymore, it’s yours. 🟣
Just wanted to take a moment and acknowledge that these albums take a lot of people to put together not just creatively, but on the administrative side and it often goes unrecognized. It simply wouldn’t be possible without your help. While we couldn’t plan for a global pandemic, I’m so proud of how the entire team adapted and gave this release everything they had. 🙏🏻
