On Wednesday 16th April, the UK Supreme Court ruled in a case "What is a Woman" between anti trans lobby For Women Scotland and the Scottish Government declaring that trans women are not biologically women, and further that trans men are not biologically men, that there are only two genders, and that a person remains the same sex as they were at birth and changing your gender marker via a Gender Recognition Certificate will no longer mean recognition of a trans person as their gender. This ruling would force people to use single sex spaces that match their assigned gender at birth, for example forcing trans women into men's bathrooms and trans men into women's.
This ruling sets back the rights of trans and non-binary people by years, despite scientific evidence overwhelmingly being on the side of trans people. During these hearings, no actual trans people were involved in the trial on the decision of their status and lived experience.
We beg everyone - especially trans allies - to make their way to local protests against this ruling and defend trans people's right to their identity and dignity. Join us on Saturday 19th April in London to show that this draconic decision is not ok. Bring posters or flags if you're able and remember to travel safely and stay hydrated.
The details for the London event are below but so far there are also protests on the same date in Belfast, Plymouth, Glasgow, and Dundee. We recommend following "What the Trans?!" socials to get the most up to date news on any additional protests.

Radio Broadcast comics update:
Last Monday we had uploaded the next part in the radio broadcast series of comics but unfortunately due to a particularly naughty scene in it our channel received a strike leading to us not being able to post anything for the past week.
However we are back now in full swing and will have that video re-edited to remove the scene in question and a full cut of that video will be on our PATREON very soon after also!

We are making an announcement to confirm we have parted ways with a member from our team. Evidence has been presented to us over the past day of misconduct by this member. We would like to express that any work that's already been made public will be kept available on our channel and any work that's been recorded and not yet posted will be re-recorded by another member of the team to be decided. We have made these previous works still available in order to respect other members of our team that put in such amazing work.
We do not condone, nor do we support the actions that have been brought to light. We value safety and security for all members and we take any accusations to a very serious level. Anything brought to our attention will be examined and followed up with the utmost care and appropriate action will be taken whether this be legal or administrative.
We will be working further on a reporting system should a similar issue arise in the future. The described misconduct did not take place within any Hazfans Unlimited work space or any platform or server associated with us.
