Hey there! Iām Sean Paul, Iām 29 and I just made the biggest leap of faith in my life. I grew up in North Florida and lived in Southern Georgia for most of my adult life. Living in cities is all Iāve ever known, and lately, Iāve felt overwhelmed by the fast paced lifestyle and generally feelin' out of place.
Without much resistance, I sold everything I could, packed what I needed in one truck, and set my sights for Alaska! A place Iāve never been to and only knew of through stories. I came with my dog Gracie, my cat Saoirse, and a dream to build an off-grid sanctuary in the middle of the Alaskan wilderness!
Iāve never built a cabin, Iāve never had to survive harsh winters/wild encounters, and Iāve always had societyās comforts at my fingertips. Do I have what it takes to thrive and survive on my own? I decided life is short, tomorrow is never guaranteed, and Iām turning my āwhat ifsā into a reality!
