Hey guys
Within the next year or so I'd like to repurpose this channel to host my soundtracks and other game music stuff. I originally made another channel for it, but this is my "main" channel and since game music is my "main" thing, well... you see where I'm going.
That is to say, if you don't want any of that sort of stuff in your feed, you'll have plenty of time to abandon ship!
I miss Smash and making Smash videos, but I haven't been able to find the will to reconnect with either despite many attempts and threats to do so over the past couple of years. "Quit" isn't the right way to put it, so much as "don't really see myself wanting to."
Thank you guys for sticking around for my Smash stuff if you decide it's time to go. I don't want to shove things into people's feeds they didn't sign up for, but I also don't want my main account to rot.
Appreciate the heck out of you guys, and hope we'll see each other around.

New ideas for videos:
-What exactly is the "tempo/pace" of a match, and how does one control it?
-Next one is hard to describe, but it regards recognizing scenarios where one option is clearly more dangerous than all others, and specifically focusing your attention on reacting to that one option at the cost of being unable to react to others.
For example, D3 ledgetrapping. Dash attack is way more dangerous, in general, than being hit by a gordo, but if we don't prioritize getting hit by one over the other, we'll try to react to either and our reaction time will suffer because of it. So sometimes it may be better to purposely keep specific watch for a DA to come out, even if it means ignoring the incoming gordo.

Hey guys.
Channel's a little dry these days, sorry about that. Basically no free time to script out and edit videos recently, plus just haven't really had any topics I've felt particularly strongly about such as to make an entire video about them.
That said, for a while I've wanted to post less edited stuff, but I also want to keep the theme of the channel consistent in terms of SmashConceptions vids. So I've finally made a second channel where I'll be posting significantly more often, though the content of the channel will focus on moments from my stream, i.e. gameplay clips or more long-form discussions I have with viewers that may be helpful to some, but that I would feel too sloppy just posting raw on this channel.

After an extremely long time, we're finally to 10K!
Thank you, guys. A new video should be out shortly after I'm back from being out of town (about a week from now) in addition to some kind of commemorative vid celebrating the embarassingly slow slog to 10K.
I'm very fortunate to have a platform of any kind, and it's never taken for granted that you all give me an audience.

Hi guys. I'm not dead. Just been very busy with music work. I'll probably time my next video with when I reach 10K subs, which is about 40 more, which at my current rate of growth should only take another year.

It's not enough to know THAT something is the case, but WHY and HOW it's the case. This philosophy and a decade of trying unironically to win as Ganondorf across three games has made me see Smash a little differently.
