Hi there! A couple friends of mine had mentioned they love certain songs but the original singer's voice is in a lower register than theirs is capable of... today we introduce my attempt at higher/lower keyed songs!

so, if you don't know, i'm like a HUGE Starlight Mints fan, for 20 years now, endlessly introducing every new friend to this band. well, over a decade ago SM broke up and soonish after, in 2017, Allan Vest (formerly of SM) and his incredibly talented, newly minted (get it) wife, Barb [Hendrickson] Vest created and became @doubleVeeBand
in 2022, just at the release of their album, Treat Her Strangely, i became aware of their existence (thank you forever, @goldenchoralekaraoke ) and in the time since i have fallen in love with more of the Mints-esque quirkiness I have spent 20 decades of my life enjoying!
they were kind enough to join one of our livestreams in chat even and have been a constant and unwavering source of encouragement, support, and inspiration on my karaoke-making journey.
Barb was kind enough to provide me with a couple Official instrumentals recently, so I thought I would honor their kindness and make something incredibly complementary for what they have added to my life.
