The famous Urdu poet Abbas Tabish was born on 15th June 1961 in district Vehari. Abbas Tabish did his masters from Govt College Lahore in 1986 after which Abbas Tabish started his job as a lecturer. Abbas Tabish taught in various colleges and now a day He is serving government college Gulberg Lahore as the head of Urdu department. Abbas Tabish remained the editor of a digest named as “RAVI” during Abbas Tabish education in government college Lahore. Abbas Tabish has attended various poetic gatherings in Dubai, Norway, Australia, Musket, Sharjah, Britain, India and America. Abbas Tabish is one of the known poets around the world especially in Pakistan and India. Abbas Tabish is the winner of the prestigious Pride of Performance award.
