Answers to questions from the live AMA

Correlation between ADHD and dyslexia: International Dyslexia Association estimates that approximately 30% of those with dyslexia also have ADHD www.fcps.edu/academics/academic-overview/special-e… pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26298473/

As far as the Brain Glasses from the Mind-Eye institute, they sound interesting, but I am not finding any clinical trials or peer-reviewed research.

How many of you are CADCs in ILLINOIS who would use AllCEUs for your CEUs if we got 30 hours approved? (We need at least 30 people to sign up to break even) We are approved in most other states. www.allceus.com/counseling_social_work_ce_psycholo…

To all my Licensed Clinician peeps out there. Sign up at ALLCEUs.com/Locum to get notified of opportunities for LPCs, LMFTs, LMHCs, and LCSWs to work Locum Tenens positions. These are short term positions to cover for someone who goes out on extended leave or to fill a gap while the agency hires. It is great if you like to travel.

Being a Locum does not cost you anything. They are like an employment agency for LPCs , LMFTs, LCSWs. They do the credentialling and help with licensure in states you are not yet licensed. (The hiring company does all of that) They have permanent and locum positions available. Locums are basically like a cadre of PRNs that are able to work for a perdetermined period of time. Usually 3-6 months. Docs and nurses have been doing it forever, we are finally able to do it too.
