Hereās my Jojoās Bizarre Adventure Review
Ok, so I went into this knowing NOTHING about the show. Boy, was I in for a treat. Iām currently on Part 4, Diamond is Unbreakable, so nothing past probably part 3 will be included in this review.
First and foremost, this show is bizarre. Itās super wild, unexpected, and quirky. But to be honest, thatās what makes it so unique and fun to watch. The scenarios are very strange and unusual, and the characters only add to its oddness. Thatās one of the reasons I love this show so much, though, and even if you donāt think it will, I believe it will make you like it more too.
Moving on, the animation. The animation isnāt the best animation in any show, but it fits the show extremely well, and I love it for that reason. The animation isnāt super goofy, but itās not super serious either, and from what Iāve seen, it changes throughout the seasons. So far, from the small amount Iāve seen, Part 4, Diamond is Unbreakable, has my favorite style of animation. Letās move on to the parts.
Starting with Part 1, Phantom Blood: As some of you probably know, most people donāt think Part 1 is that great. And this is rare, but I think it was the most I enjoyed the show so far. It may be because it was all new to me, or I was just so excited to watch the show, but MAN I love this part. The characters are awesome, the visuals are amazing, the voice acting is a MASTERPIECE, and thereās so much more I could rant about.
On to Part 2, Battle Tendency: This is usually where most people start to really get into the show. Honestly, thinking of the part itself, not my experience with it, it might be the best of the 3 parts Iāve finished so far. The characters are even better, the voice acting continues to be astonishing, the villains are great, and itās overall a great part. I love Joseph so much, and having him as the main character is SO FUN!!!
And the last part covered in this review is Part 3, Stardust Crusaders. Now, this one is generally known to be the worst part of the whole series so far. Of the 3 Iāve seen, I can agree. The concept is great, but it starts to get repetitive as the episodes go on, with the same layout each episode. But to give credit where credit is due, the characters are probably the best out of all 3 parts Iāve seen so far. The way they are introduced is awesome, the tensions between them works so well, and their interactions are always a delight to see! Also, the voice acting continues to be a work of art, and make the show much better!
Last, but DEFINITELY not least, is the music. Starting with the openings, they are all so so SO artsy, in a good way! The music blends so well with the different animation style, and itās so delightful to take in! The outros are a lot different! They are more of a still image sliding around the screen to music. The outro songs are AWESOME!!! The only one so far that I donāt really like is āLong Way Homeā but they canāt ALL be winners. Moving on, the background ost is also incredible, fitting the scenes perfectly! The Stardust Crusaders theme is my favorite so far. It just hits at certain points of the song, and itās perfect for all of the scenes itās in! The ost is all just so well produced and even though itās all used a bunch of times, itās always just right for the scene itās in. I just love it so much, and itās one of the best parts of the show.
Overall, I give this show a 10/10 so far. I canāt wait to watch more and see what other bizarre things happen!
