We were getting ready for the Joni Jam show at the Gorge, and wanted to sing a song that was meaningful for her..we asked a long time mutual friend of Joni’s, Cameron Crowe, if he had suggestion for a song that would be natural for us to sing, and one that would make her happy…and Cactus Tree was the one. It’s meditative and beautiful and if you aren’t familiar with it, it’ll quickly become a favorite, as it has for us.
