With this channel, we aim to create a digital archive of interviews and conversations with writers, creators and intellectuals whose work we admire. SPOTLITE is a space that is open for everyone who is interested in works by Africans and people of African descent.
We not only hope to preserve conversations with (and insights into) the minds of contemporary writers and intellectuals for posterity, but we also hope to push against the prevalent narrative of exclusivity and restrictive access to intellectual materials, by publishing these videos on a platform that is freely accessible for everyone.
