About Clarity English
Clarity was set up in 1992 to develop high-level ICT materials for English for schools and universities. The company now provides products and services to more than 1,000 universities in over 110 countries. Clarity additionally partners with global providers of English to develop and enhance their ICT products. These include major projects with Cambridge University Press and, especially, the British Council.
Clarity runs a pro bono project in Ethiopia where it supports nine universities with free software and onsite training. The company also sponsors the secondary education of 25 vulnerable girls in Africa through the Commonwealth Countries League Education Fund.
Clarity won the English Speaking Union President's Award for innovation and technology in 2012, and was honoured in 2013 with the Hong Kong Business Award (SME) as the best company in Hong Kong with fewer than 100 staff.
