The biggest progress I had inside my Trading was when I chose to fully respect my rules.
“If the Market is doing X and I can see it do X but it’s not within my specific time period, I choose to stay sidelined.”
In that way, I disregard my old adversity which stated:
“Well, if I violated this rule, what’s the point in following a system anyway?”
Which spirals down into an emotional behaviour, which is both detrimental to life and Trading.

A written game plan before the Session starts allows me to know a specific thing I am looking for, allowing me to filter out the mistakes I would do if I was Trading emotionally.
By looking specifically for one thing to occur, I automatically say no to those “opportunities”, which are just mistakes disguised as an opportunity.
For example:
“I am not going to look for Buying Opportunities today unless I see a 15min level of Sellside being taken.
If I see that occurring, then I will wait for a +MSS to hint that the Market starts spooling higher, delivering my pre-planned model.
If I don’t see that occurring, then I will simply do nothing and I will be content with sitting still, knowing that I will have an opportunity the next day / week.
This is how I apply everything I stated inside of the Month 1 Private Lesson, where I discussed about being “Process-Oriented” instead of being “Reactionary-Oriented”.
