With a soothing tone and writing skills that compliment a wide range of genres from R&B/Soul, Pop, Afro-Pop to Bongo Flava with a sprinkle of influences from Country and Latin, Steven Giraita has been on the run since 2017 gaining popularity as a cover artist by re-imagining English/Spanish written songs into his native language Swahili.
His storytelling music is often based on real life experiences of his and those that surround him but won’t shy away from creating fictional stories that are equally entertaining.
Since 2023, he’s committed to release his self-written projects and he’s vowed to make his music a safe place where anyone’s story can be heard which makes his talent a gift that keeps on giving.
