I buy lots of cards from Shop Goodwill, estate auctions, garage sales, flea markets, local card shops, and antique shops. I am sharing with you, my viewers, the hunt for sports memorabilia while reliving the past, one box of treasure at a time!
My primary focus is on sports cards that are pre-1986, because anything after I consider to be from the junk wax era. While today’s cards are flashy and shiny, I get overwhelmed due to all the subsets, chase cards, and their different versions. I find I have little interest in current cards when looking at them in card shops as they do not invoke memories.
