My good friend Dwight, of "Searching for Skylab" documentary/DVD has been compiling Skylab TV footage from each mission for that last few years. He has now accumulated every roll of footage that was broadcast from rollout to splashdown. He is thinking of producing DVD sets of that footage. Each mission would be covered by 8-10 four hour discs and the cost would be about $150 per set (all these figures are not confirmed, but give you some idea of the depth of content per mission). He is looking for some feedback from the space enthusiast community. Please fill in the poll and let him know if you would be interested in buying a set of he produced them.

For those asking me for an update - the Apollo 13 debrief series is complete. There are 6 Technical and one Systems and Medical Debrief videos. All available in the Apollo 13 debrief playlist.
A fitting and timely tribute, in light of Jim's passing last week, to Jim, Jack and Freddo and the team who supported the mission.

Today's video in honor of Jim Lovell is the Apollo 13 Flight Director Loop recorded before and during the explosion of the Service Module.
Nothing needs to be said about this tape, other than it gets to me every time I listen to it. How calm the astronauts and ground controllers remained. Pure professionalism in a nutshell.

As a tribute to Jim Lovell I will be posting a few links to videos, that I produced, which really have stood out to me as capturing him and his spaceflights.
First up, a video that has only had 2.7k views but, imho, captures the moment of the Christmas Eve Genesis broadcast better than the TV Network coverage.
Here we hear the onboard tape, and get to listen to the crew talking between the live broadcast. It is, to me, one of the most fascinating audio tracks of the entire Apollo Program because of what, in history terms, it represents.
If you have never listened to it I recommend you do...
Remembering Jim Lovell and the crew of Apollo 8.

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Jim Lovell. Jim was so helpful when I compiled the Apollo 13 Full Mission series, giving advice and encouragement. It was an honour to meet him a few years ago. He will be missed and was and always will be, in my opinion, a legend in spaceflight. One of the three men first to the moon.
Gemini 7, Gemini 12, Apollo 8, Apollo 13.
Ad Astra Jim.
