Hey everybody! I wanted to thank everyone who has watched our newest video. Iām considering establishing a regular upload schedule for main hunt videos. Every other Wednesday at 5:00 PM mountain time, Iāll be posting a new video. We will call it āWingshooter Wednesdayā. Iāve got some other ideas spinning in my head including tech/gear reviews to be posted on the weeks in between hunt videos. Let me know in the comments if you have any questions or suggestions about any of my gear or anything we use. Maybe youāll see it in an upcoming video!

The plan was to get a puppy this past spring. When Cooper started to get sick we decided that it wasnāt the right time. Now the dust has settled after his passing. Last night we picked up the newest addition to our family and the Northwest Wingshooters crew. Today we enjoyed our first of many adventures to come with this little dude. Weāll call him Jasper.

When I was ten we had to give away our bird dog. I never had gotten the chance to hunt with my Dad. I dreamed of the day Iād get a dog of my own and finally get to go hunting with him. Cooper was that dog. I say was because this morning I had to do the hardest thing Iāve done yet in my life. Cooper had been sick since March and steadily getting worse. I canāt thank the wonderful people we found at Vista Animal Hospital enough. We did everything we could to keep him comfortable. He ultimately succumbed to cancer one month short of his twelfth birthday. He lived a life full of adventure and I couldnāt have asked for a better first bird dog. He took me to places I wouldāve never imagined Iād go. We did things together that Iāll never forget. I wasnāt making videos for all of our time together, but Iām so damn thankful for the ones that I do have. They will be cherished forever. Someone asked me, if I had to choose one hunt that stands out from all the rest which would it be? These pictures are from that hunt. My Dad and Iās last hunt in South Dakota. Cooper was nine and he was perfect that day. If we couldāve shot better weād have put two more behind him. But thatās not what itās about. Thatās not what any of it was about. Rest easy Cooper. Iāll see yaā later.

Iāve had some folks reach out asking where the videos are. I took the holidays off and honestly just havenāt sat down to edit since. It takes a lot of time and energy to make the videos and lately Iāve needed to spend that energy elsewhere. In addition, winter finally came and came with a vengeance. Leaving me even less motivated to venture out after the birds Iāve already chased plenty during the warmer days of this season. Iāve got at least one more video to put together from this year. Thanks to those who care to follow along.āļø

I hope you all have been enjoying the videos this year. My latest marks ten episodes released this season! By far the most ever and we still have more to come. Thank you all for your continued support. I never thought I'd have so many people interested in watching the dogs and I hunt. I am humbled.
