A couple days ago I did a bitesize on miter clamping aids for picture frames...it felt a little rushed so I fleshed it out on my second channel. It's a short video, but I really think that this is the way to make frames. It allows you to put a lot of pressure on miter joints to square them up...something miter clamps aren't good at doing.

Hey Makers!
I created this sharpening and honing guide that you may want to look at. I have a larger video that this will be attached to in the future...but it works really well at getting a sharp edge!

Hey Makers!
I've created a honing/sharpening guide that works really well for all types of chisels and hand planes. Check out the video and check the description for the website for free plans.

Makers! I’ve finished up the webpage for the handheld drilling jig. It includes step-by-step instructions, a list of materials and tools used, all free courtesy of my patrons→ makethingswithrob.com/hand-drill-jig/

I released this video on my second channel, @makethingswithrob ...that goes with a bitesize I put out yesterday. It's kind of a newer idea on a couple older ideas with some problem solving and a doh! moment thrown in.

Hey Makers, quick note for the shorts video I posted today:
Just like a jointer, you will need to put pressure on the back side of the table. I used a featherboard to put pressure on the back side...but I angled it so that I'm not pressing against the blade.
It's a little more complicated in that way, but it absolutely works as long as you realize that the pressure you put is, again, on that out feed portion.
Of course, you'll also have to realize that if it passes through the blade, it must be parallel with the back of the fence if you're putting a featherboard on it, otherwise it'll give you problems. I'll follow up with this in the future...always remember to be safe. If it doesn't feel right, don't do it.

About 7 bitesize videos ago I talked about a miter t-bar you could pick up...but found that the one I posted stopped being sold. I found another one that's _longer_ than that one that's actually much cheaper. If you're interested, you can click on the link. Hey Makers!
Just finished this on the second channel @makethingswithrob . Plans are also up online (absolutely free), which are in the description. You might remember this jig from bitesize 219. It allows you to make perfectly flat glue ups. I've used it a few times and am very happy with the results.
