If anyone has had lower resolution on my last two videos it's because a recent Streamlabs update set my recording resolution to 1920x1080. Youtube being the absolute nightmare that it is will actually make 1920x1080 videos much poorer quality than videos uploaded at 1440p, even IF the game recorded was at 1080p and the user is watching at 1080p.
This is caused by youtube's codec system. If you upload a video that is 1920x1080 you get the shit av1 codec. If you upload a video that is 2560x1440 or better you get the VP9 codec. VP9 is much much better. I don't need to set my game to 1440p anything like that, you just have to artificially scale it to 1440p. This, for some godless reason allows resolutions like 1080p or lower to just magically look better because they suffer from less of the legendary youtube compression when you trojan horse your 1080p video in a 1440p box.
All that to say, SLOBS updated and forgot one of my settings, and youtube is black magic where you have to sneak your videos in under a higher quality to make lower quality a higher quality and youtube never tells you this btw.
The next videos should be on the magical good codec and as such your 1080p viewing will be improved.

Did you guys know that 7dtd has a rounding error that causes the time you set for day length to be wrong? And the longer the day length the MORE wrong it actually is. This means that when you set it to 60 minute days your day lasts around 70 minutes. If you set your day to 50 minutes it's about 52 minutes long.
Someone on the forums said that if you set the days to 6 hours long, time would actually stop.
How has this game, based around days and the length of those days, been in development for 12 years? How did we get here? What's going on? Who am I? Who are you? GAaaaaaAaaaaaAagh

My usual saturday and sunday streams will be moved to sunday and monday at the same usual time because I got some shit called "reality" to deal with? I've never heard of it but it sounds like it smells like a library in summer.
Anyway hasta la see ya tomorrow or whatever. As usual the image is complete nonsense to catch your attention but I think it could be a very versatile soyjak reference image of captain rex from the hit tv show star wars the clone wars (2008) Season 7 etc etc you get it buzz off.
