The DJ Screw "Soldiers United for Cash" (DVD) documentary was recorded 1999 through 2000, and is the only documentary about DJ Screw created while he was here to tell his story. The feature-length film reveals how DJ Screw got his name, and how he started creating his Screwed & Chopped mixtapes in the 90s. Screw introduces the members of his group, the Screwed Up Click, who showcase their skills with freestyles, concerts and music videos, along with Screw mixing records on camera. Robert E. Davis, Jr. (DJ Screw) passed away unexpectedly on November 16, 20000, shortly after recording his main interview and studio session for the film, and many other members of the Screwed Up Click have also passed away since the 90s, including Big Steve, brothers Fat Pat and Big Hawk, Big Moe, D-Drew, Mr. 3-2, and Macc Grace. Salute to all the fallen soldiers of the S.U.C., their memories live on through their music and ever-growing impact.
