Dear music lovers,
I just published a new mix about hip hop fro Africa :

Here we move over the last 20 years across the whole continent,
most of these songs became hits and made millions of views,
others remain UFO with underrated influence way beyond frontiers...

For the next 55'mn, we are going to jump from style to style, from hopeful village chorus to desperate urban electronics, from smart amapianos shifting to wild kuduros... All artists presented here have definitely paved the way to what has been hardly named 'Afro Hip Hop' , sometimes awkwardly 'Afro Beats', though it covers too many influences & rhythm patterns to be reduced to this label...

This first volume is more french and english speaking oriented, because it was initially broadcasted on the french C.LAB Radio (88.4 FM). But you will hear other tongues, as 'dioula' (Ivory Coast), 'cheng' (Kenya), 'xhosa' (South Africa) or 'swahili' from many different places...

Behind much cool & easy vibes, Mc's performing here are addressing important messages to the world & the new generations, about social issues, political protests, sharing spirituals thoughts or just reveal love affairs...
This set tends to highlight the stunning creativity of grooves, melting electric guitars with raw beats, high-fly synths with twisted drums.... exploring melodies from the bush & reinventing the Hip Hop of tomorrow...
