God revealed the Torah and the Gospel before, as guidance for the people, then He revealed the Qur'an, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a Criterion over it. So those who believe in what has been revealed before, and what was revealed later in the Qur'an - those are upon guidance from God, and it is those who are the successful. For God has ordained for religion what He enjoined upon Noah and that which He has revealed to Muhammad, and what He enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus - to establish the religion and not be divided therein. God chooses for Himself whom He wills and guides to Himself whoever turns back to Him.
