RuneScapeLore - Above the Lore was a podcast series focusing on RuneScape's lore, hosted by the Senior Narrative Designer, Mod Osborne. It occurred at 9:00PM BST every other Thursday on the fansite RuneZone's RuneRadio. The first episode was aired on 2 May 2013, and episodes continued airing every other Thursday since then, with a short break for RuneFest.
At the end of each podcast, there was a "Question Roulette" feature, where mods were asked random questions gathered from a thread in the Future Updates section on the official forums. After that, a note from the Chaos Elemental was given, which was often a cryptic hint to future content.
After the cancellation of the 14th episode, it was put on hold, and was eventually replaced by Pollcasts.
