The John Sexton Scholars Program is a unique professional development opportunity for High School and College students across NY, NJ, and CT who are interested in global issues, especially humanitarianism, international law, and identity based conflict.
Each year, seven JS Scholars are selected through our essay contest based on the quality of their arguments regarding a specific, current international crisis. In additional to a one-of-a-kind mentorship with John Sexton, the President Emeritus of NYU, JS Scholars are provided a monetary award, college prep, and SAT tutoring. Scholars are then eligible for exclusive professional development opportunities, including chances to interview NYU professors and other leading world experts, videos of which are found on this channel, as well as further writing opportunities and awards.
