🔋 Bajaj Chetak Battery Maintenance Tips
1. Avoid Extreme Temperatures
Do not expose the vehicle to high or low temperatures for long periods. It can reduce battery life and affect range. Park in a shaded area.
2. Store Properly When Not in Use
If not using the vehicle, store it in a dry, cool place—away from heat, cold, and direct sunlight.
3. Idle for Over 15 Days?
If the vehicle won’t be used for more than 15 days, keep the battery at a minimum 50% charge.
4. Charge Monthly
Charge the battery at least once a month, even if the vehicle isn’t used.
5. Use Proper AC Supply
Ensure the charger is plugged into a single-phase AC supply with proper earthing.
6. Temperature Warning
The battery will not charge in extreme cold or overheating conditions.
