Hello Everyone,
In India according to the law all the children (Boys/girls)are the equal share holders of parents property.Though it’s parents right if they want to transfer their property to their children or not. They are the owners they can do whatever they want to do with their property.
But generally whole property is given to the boys. Some proportion is spent on girl’s education and marriage.Girls don’t ask for property as it’s against the norms/culture.If a girl needs her share she has to go to the court and after that there is no relationship between brother and sister.Because she took her share. It means the relationship is not true? This way all the boys who keeps their sisters share , sisters also shouldn’t keep any relationship with their brothers.
But this doesn’t happen.Because since the childhood girls started understanding this concept. And generally they don’t ask for property. They just ask when they really need, or ill treated by the brother or his wife, or forced by their husbands.
But I am very confused why most of the parents/brothers don’t have the dare/guts to equally divide their property? Parents who does this injustice do they really love equally to their children?
What’s your opinion on this?
Kindly note :- I am not saying girls should take their share but it must be given by parents.Later on girls can give it back to their brothers if they wish.
