I might as well join the firepit of Israel and Palestine takes as well.
I've seen many well meaning people make some of the most monstrous and evil takes on this conflict and it's disgusting and disturbing to see both friends, people i've looked up to and elected officials to make mental gymnastics to deny, downplay or even outright defend the genocidal rhetoric of an apartheid state or a Islamofascist terrorist movement.
I genuinely believe the reason why behind this is the religious and ethnic context behind the conflict, Jews and Christians (ESPECIALLY evangelicals/protestants) believe they will rebuild the Third Temple to bring about the end of the world, and their goal is to wipe Palestinians off the map. While Muslims believe they're are in a jihad to defend the Al-Aqsa Mosque against Israel as it is the second holiest site in Islam. And Nazis utilize and weapons rhetoric who matter from who to massacre Arabs and Jews whenever they can get away with it.
It doesn't help that Israel is under the rule of Netanyahu, one of the most far-right Prime Ministers Israel has ever seen who has driven whatever democracy Israel used to have down to the ground, and Hamas, a Muslim Brotherhood offshoot along with several islamofascist groups like the Palestinian Islamic Jihad has ruled the Gaza with an iron fist has just committed the worse violence against Jews since the Holocaust.
This conflict has driven people mad for the past 70 or so years and people's inability to see through weaponized rhetoric of genocide to defend one side or another will bring about a war we have never seen since the Arab Spring in the Middle East.
I know you guys are not huge in supporting the so-called 'mainstream media' (A term used by Alex Jones and Jimmy Dore types to discourage accurate reporting) but they are gonna be your best sources on the conflict during ongoing events, since journalists will be on the ground reporting on them live. If you're skeptical of anything just wait for more sources or information after the fact.
I would also recommend not picking a side beyond sympathy for the civilians and the blight that Palestinians are suffering through lest you become a monster like these people.

I don't normally post the random maps I draw in my own time but I really liked how this one turned out that I figure I would show guys this.
It's a map of the current U.S House of Representatives and I drew it purposely to showcase the various caucuses (basically political factions within the political parties) each representative is apart of in each district. Obviously not every single caucus was added but these were the most important to include on the map.
Made one with the Problem-Solvers Caucus (Yes that's an actual caucus name lmao) and one without if you guys felt like the circles made it more cluttered then it already is. Hope you guys enjoy these maps!
