YN leaned back against the headboard, her phone glowing softly in her hand. Yoongi was already lying beside her, half-asleep, his breaths steady and calm. The evening had been long, filled with pleasantries and the occasional undercurrent of tension that only industry events could bring.
As she scrolled through her notifications, she spotted the messages from Seung-hyun. They were polite and professional, as expected, but she couldn't help but smirk at the timing. His words were carefully crafted:
"Hello YN it was a pleasure seeing you at the gala. I wanted to discuss the possibility of representation through Obsidian. I’ve also been considering a collaboration with Yoongi—your expertise would be invaluable. Let me know if we can set up a meeting."
YN sighed, her smirk softening into a chuckle. She wasn’t naive—she could sense when someone had ulterior motives, and Seung-hyun’s sudden interest in Obsidian felt more personal than professional. Still, the message was harmless, and she appreciated the tact. At least he didn’t try anything ridiculous, she thought.
Yoongi stirred slightly, his hand reaching out to rest on her thigh. His touch was instinctive, even in his near-sleep state, and it grounded her.
“Who’s texting you this late?” he murmured, his voice raspy and low, eyes still closed..
“Seung-hyun,” YN replied casually, not wanting to hide anything.
That woke him up. Yoongi opened one eye, looking at her with a mix of curiosity and suspicion. “What does he want?”
“Apparently, representation from Obsidian and a possible collaboration with you.” YN placed her phone on the nightstand and turned to face him, brushing his messy hair from his forehead. “It’s nothing, Yoongi. You have nothing to worry about.”
Yoongi’s lips twitched into a faint smile, though his eyes still held a flicker of skepticism. “He’s not exactly known for being straightforward.”
“I know,” YN said, leaning down to kiss him gently. “But I’ve got this. He can send as many polite messages as he wants, but you’re my priority. Always.”
Yoongi relaxed under her words and touch, his tension melting away. “Good. I don’t trust him, but I trust you.”
YN smiled, feeling his trust settle warmly in her chest. She turned off the bedside lamp and slid under the covers, snuggling into Yoongi’s embrace. The messages could wait until morning—tonight, all that mattered was the quiet peace they shared.

YN felt Yoongi’s hands move under her shirt, warm and deliberate. She sighed, her body responding instinctively to his touch. She shifted to face him, meeting his intense gaze.
“Yoongi,” she whispered, a teasing smile playing on her lips, “are you trying to mark your territory again?”
His lips curved into a sly smirk, his eyes dark with emotion. “Can you blame me?” he murmured in Korean, his deep voice carrying a mix of playfulness and seriousness. “I don’t like the way he looked at you at the gala… or that he’s messaging you now.”
Yn cupped his face, her fingers tracing his jawline. “You know I’m yours, right? Completely. There’s no competition, Yoongi.”
Yoongi leaned in, pressing a slow, heated kiss to her lips, his hands exploring her curves with a possessive urgency. “I know,” he said softly between kisses, “but I can’t help it. You drive me crazy.”
Yn laughed against his lips, her hands sliding into his dark, tousled hair. “You don’t need to worry about anyone else. You’re the only man I want, Yoongi. Always.”
Her words seemed to fuel him further, his kisses deepening, his grip on her firm yet tender. “Good,” he whispered, his breath warm against her skin. “I want to make sure you never forget that.”
