Hola! So this week I made a song entirely out of kitchen utensils about hosting a dinner party, and shot it by myself in a tiny kitchen in Ibiza. Why not eh? Had so much fun making this and proving there is art everywhere. Enjoy x

Hola! I'm out in Ibiza working on a new music project, but in the meantime I wrote this poem and wanted to share it with you.
I've had a lot on my mind recently and I've been thinking about how a conversation with my younger self would go.
It's been interesting finding the balance between not holding myself to unrealistic expectations or goals/measures that don't actually matter whilst still making sure I'm a dreamer who believes I have the power to make the world a better place and that I can be a better person.Β
Curious to know your thoughts? Where did you think you'd be now when you were a kid and how do you feel about it?

What Makes YOU Happy?
This is a conversation about how we as a society often know the cost of everything and the value of nothing.
I call myself out and talk about some of my experiences navigating my own happiness as I begin to understand how important taking care of myself and my wellbeing is.
I talk about my experiences experimenting with breath work like @iceman_hof (actually saved my life, but that's a story for another day!), acupuncture and trying to get over the cynicism I've been conditioned to feel towards methods that can be massively beneficial and are largely free.
I'd love to know what makes YOU happy in response to this video, excited to hear your thoughts.

Hello! "Getting Stranded in Ibiza, Losing My Voice and Oprah Winfrey "
I wanted to check in properly as it's been a while, ask a few questions of you and also share what I've been up to recently.
So right now I'm in Ibiza and I'm sending this from the top of a very long hike! I came out here in October for two weeks, got stranded, and I'm still here....π
The last year and a year has been a strange one as I'm sure it has been for you too. Luckily I've been able to stay creative and as always music has been helping me through.
Unfortunately, a few months ago I lost my voice and I'm currently in vocal rehab so I can't sing at the moment π© It's been really difficult because music is literally everything to me, but I've been using this time to develop and expand my creativity in other areas. If you've wondered why I've been posting poems and about filmmaking...that's why π In a weird way it's been a blessing in disguise as I'm developing so many skills and finding some much joy in places I didn't know about. When my voice is back there's so much can't wait to do using these things in tandem.
Speaking of music, before I lost my voice I was working on a new project. My favourite music I've ever created, I'm so so excited about it and I can't wait to hear it!
Oh and one of my songs "Neighbours" just got featured on Queen Sugar, an AMAZING American TV show exec produced by Oprah. Super exciting news!
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello, tell you how I am and see how you are ?

These lyrics are really resonating with me today 'Pastime Paradise'
I meant to start a series called 'Stevie Sunday', but I've been so preoccupied with everything going on that this is my second week posting a day late. In this weeks 'Stevie Wonday' I've chosen a song that I'm really connecting to at the moment and speaks to what's going on at the moment.
In this song, Stevie presents two groups of people 1: Those who are clinging onto the old system, a system of ignorance and one that benefits them. The type of people trying to "Make America Great Again", calling for Brexit to "get our country back", those who would rather see their whole country burned than create reform and a just system. These people are living in a Pastime Paradise. 2: Those who are fighting to dismantle the current system, fighting for a future for all people, fighting for progress and peace. These people are living in a Future Paradise.
It's important to asses which group we fall into predominantly and find ways to sit in group 2 as often as possible. But in the meantime, thank you for the music Stevie.
