As a Buyer, how do you get your earnest money back if your financing fails? How do escalator clauses benefit you and allow you to save thousands of dollars? What about Automated Valuation Models like Zillow's Zestimate? Do they work? Are they accurate? Spoiler Alert!!! It says right on Zillow's web site that the Zestimate should NOT be used to price your home. It says instead you should get an appraisal or a Comparative Market Analysis from a real estate agent. But nobody reads that part.
