Old school drag car builds & races
My drag car Beast, a custom 1934 heritage kit Mercedes 500k. Stretched out 18" giving her perfect weight distribution and a sleek straight shot down the track. I learned how to build her in 2021 with my man Chris, who had his own body/restoration & upholstery shop for over 30 yrs. Ive never built a car or raced one prior to 2021, so my starter engine was 350 sbc. Now she has a nasty 421sbc. She has 456 gears, 13.5-1 compression, 9" ford rear end. Her rear frame is a '76 cadillac deville with a '86 caprice front frame. I started racing in 2022, along with Chris and his 71 Chevelle SS.
