My dad has a legendary story about the Greek Islands Restaurant. After working at a convention all day back in the 80s, his party asked the hotel concierge where to eat. When they arrived, the Greek Islands was about to close, but George welcomed my dad and friends in, treating his group like family and staying open late.
Many flaming cheeses and "Opas" later (and shots, probably), instead of taking a cab, George personally drove them back to their hotel.
We come back every trip to Indianapolis. This trip we met George's granddaughter.
