As a designer who wants to level up. Do you build a portfolio of tiny apps for the skill? Should you think about monetizing?
Or do you aim for the sky and make a big app that you feel is scary. Scary is different for many or subjective like design.
If you approach the scary idea in a beta mvp phase. Release it early to only a few users. Get feedback, make a landing page. Make a small or one feature set. See where that takes you.

I’m building a personal brand which is for the long term but it has helped me through the rough times.

Retrospect after working with a new client this week as a Designer who can code designs. Collaborate early and often.
Get them involved early in the design, send invites to Figma, encourage them to share inspiration and leave comments.
Send loom video updates.
Be responsive on slack.
